The Active Parenting Online Group consists of six weekly lessons covering a new topic each week. The parenting skills are represented through entertaining video vignettes that demonstrate the hows and how-nots of parenting.
The online class discussion takes place on a Group Discussion Bulletin Board where group members interact with one another and receive support and expert feedback from a trained, certified Active Parenting online group leader.
The amount of time it takes to complete each lesson will vary based on how much you participate in the group discussion and your individual skill level. The average time to complete all of the activities in each lesson is approximately 1½ to 2 hours.
Upon completion of the first two lessons you will receive an Active Parenting Now parent guide. This 164-page book can be used to review and refresh the skills you learned in this online class and includes additional information that will help you gain even more confidence.
